In a nutshell, we are a Bible based, Spirit led, Life with Jesus, community of believers, pursuing “His kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.” Through our everyday life, our goal is to spread the truth of our belief that God is Real, You are Loved, to the “whosoever” spoken of in the Bible.
MHMC was founded in 1976 upon the belief that God wanted this mountaintop. The label “mission church” is in the title due to the simple fact that the church was founded upon the idea: “we are on a mission to reach this mountaintop.” It’s that same philosophy that drives MHMC today. “The mountain is mine,” says the Lord. And with the same fierce intention that Caleb had in Joshua 14, we approach advancing God’s Kingdom here on the mountaintop.

Pastor: Ryan Dempsey
Ryan is a husband to his wife Alisa, and a father to five kids. Over their ten years spent on the mountaintop, they’ve experienced the highs and lows that life and ministry have to bring. Ryan says stepping into this position of leadership “has been a steep learning curve,” coming from previous vocational and volunteer positions in youth ministry, but one that has seen the faithfulness of God all throughout. “Our family’s approach to this ministry is one of family. We are all a part of the family of God, through Jesus Christ.” This has shaped our intentions and purpose to bring those sojourning with us along this path into an ever deepening fellowship with Jesus. For it is upon this path, and this path only, that we discover that God is real, and that we are truly loved, and brought to life.
